EMPOWERING LEADERS WHO HAVE CANCER OR ARE CANCER SURVIVORS

Remember life is a gift, plan your adventure today!

Work with Tenki Adventures to plan activities to enhance your well-being.

Tenki Adventures is an experiential executive coaching organization that supports leaders who have cancer or are cancer survivors to engage in activities that increase their positive emotions.

“Positive emotions are the roots of well-being, nourishing both the mind and body and allowing health to bloom from within.”

Positive Emotions

Positive emotions help us broaden our awareness and encourage creative thinking, resilience, and better social connections.  These emotions not only enhance our mental state but can also lead to better physical health, including reduced stress, improved immune function, and increased longevity.

My degrees include, Doctor of Education from George Washington University, Master of Education, Counseling Psychology and Bachelor of Science, Exercise Science from Rutgers University.

My Story

Throughout my life, I have participated in adventures which have enhanced my positive emotions and enabled me to enjoy life even during difficult times.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2024, and as luck would have it, the day I found out about my diagnosis was the day my husband and I were scheduled to fly to London to visit family and friends.

Despite my diagnosis, we got on the plane and had an amazing time!

We had visited London before but this time I intentionally took time to make the most of every moment.

It was just the adventure I needed to reenergize and be reminded about what a gift it is to be alive.

Upon returning home, I was focused on the future and motivated to get the cancer out of my body.

This new mindset helped me greatly throughout my breast cancer journey and was reinforced by the love and support from my family, friends, and colleagues and also by the variety of adventures I coordinated.

What is

“Tenki” ?

Krio for thank you.

My family is from Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa. Krio is a widely spoken language in Sierra Leone, the word "Tenki" (“Ten-key”) translates to "thank you" in English. It is a term used to express gratitude or appreciation, similar to how "thank you" is used in English-speaking cultures.

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE YOUR LIFE!
